Teesside-based Lemon Contact Centre has secured SafeSupplier status in recognition of its commitment to quality and best practice.

The outsourcing service, based in Stockton, has been awarded the industry-standard endorsement after scrutiny of its operations, systems and procedures.

The analysis examined aspects of Lemon’s business including standards, health and safety, quality, ethical best practices, sustainability and responsible growth.

Lemon, which has been in business nearly 20 years, specialises in both inbound and outbound services and works predominantly with engineering, technical and facilities maintenance companies, both in the UK and Europe, as well as in the care sector, including funeral directors and personal safety apps.

Martin Anderson, Lemon’s chief executive, said: “The SafeSupplier accreditation demonstrates to existing and potential customers that in choosing Lemon they are contracting with a business that is dedicated to embracing best business practices and quality management systems.”

The SafeSupplier status has been awarded by Alcumus, which validates the legal, moral and financial credentials of companies to help potential clients make informed decisions when appointing a supplier.

SafeSupplier helps companies demonstrate their compliance with regulatory requirements, international standards and industry best practice.
