PART of one the region’s main roads will be closed tonight for urgent repairs.
The A66 will be closed from 9pm at Middlesbrough’s Hartington Interchange.
It will be closed in both directions until 5am.
The closure will enable emergency repairs to be undertaken to the Hartington Interchange overbridges.

Vehicles will be diverted up and over Hartington Roundabout via the on/off slip roads. Hartington Road will also remain open.
A Middlesbrough Council spokesman said: “We aim to complete these repairs as quickly as possible, and hope to keep any disruption to a minimum.
“We’re grateful to motorists for their patience and understanding, and apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
