POLICE in Hartlepool seized a quadbike yesterday and have issued a warning to other users in an antisocial behaviour crackdown.

The quadbike was seized by neighbourhood police officers in the Belle Vue area of the town Yesterday (Friday, May 20).

Police issued a warning stressing that they will “continue to deal with quadbikes and off road vehicles” if they are being used in an antisocial or illegal way.

A spokesperson for Hartlepool Neighbourhood Police Team, added: “We want to keep our roads, pavements, and open spaces safe for all

“Please use our 101 number or tell www.crimestoppers-uk.org (tel 0800 555 111) anonymously who’s using nuisance bikes - and where they’re being stored - so we can take appropriate action.”
