After failing to comply with the notice, Durham County Council brought a prosecution under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act.

The case was proved in Burn's absence at Peterlee Magistrates' Court on Tuesday (May, 17).

The 54-year-old was fined £200 and ordered to pay £330 in costs plus a £34 victim surcharge bringing the total she owes the court to £584.

The balance must be paid by June 14 this year.
