EMERGENCY services have dealt with a crash involving an overturned caravan on the A19 at Thirsk.
The road was closed for a number of hours causing significant traffic disruption.
The National Highways reported the A19 in North Yorkshire is closed southbound between the A168 at South Kilvington and the A170 at Thirsk due to a collision involving an overturned caravan.
Emergency services including North Yorkshire Police were in attendance, with National Highways Traffic Officers and contractors on scene assisting with traffic management.
National Highways, which had diversions in place, has since reported the road has reopened.
