Independent property consultancy Naylors Gavin Black has been ranked the most active industrial agent in the North East.

Its topping of the EG Radius league table was achieved thanks to one of the biggest industrial deals so far in 2022.

This involved Naylors Gavin Black marketing the freehold of a 186,530 sq ft unit at Northumberland Dock Road, Wallsend. It was bought by Northumbrian Water from Akdeniz Chemson for an undisclosed sum.

In total Naylors Gavin Black acted on 428,449 sq ft of deals in the first quarter of the year.

As well as increasing Naylors Gavin Black’s lead in the North East, the Wallsend deal helped the agent move up to fourth place in EG’s national industrial agent rankings.

Keith Stewart, a Naylors Gavin Black partner, said: “It is testament to the hard work and expertise of our staff that we have been recognised in this regional ranking.

“Our positions in both the North East and national league tables are a reflection of the quality of service and care that we provide.”

The EG Radius on-Demand rankings provide a snapshot of the latest commercial property deals and which agents are making their mark across the UK.

The company is based in Higham Place, Newcastle.
