What is the weather like next week?

Moving into next week sadly the warm weather will not last for long as thicker cloud moves in and outbreaks and rain and breezier conditions.

The full long-range forecast between Monday May 16 and Wednesday may 25 reads: “Early in the week any showers in the far south and southeast are likely to quickly clear leaving most places fine and dry with sunny periods.

“Thicker cloud and outbreaks of rain are likely to spread to some northwestern areas later, with some breezier conditions in the west. Into the middle and end of the week there is likely going to be a southeast-northwest split, with the southeast experiencing generally drier, more settled weather.

“The northwest, however, will likely see some cloudier weather and showery rain, possibly heavy and thundery at times.

“Over the weekend and the beginning of the following week the more unsettled weather may spread further east. Widely warm or very warm throughout, perhaps hot in the south and southeast earlier in the period.”
