POLICE have released an image of a man they are looking for in connection with an alleged burglary in Stockton.

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said they would like to question James Oliver Stuart, 31, in following a burglary and theft of jewellery at an unattended property in the town's Springfield Avenue on May 20.

They would also like to speak to him regarding a report of an attempted burglary in Woodborough Lane on November 8, when when someone smashed a window and attempted to force an internal lock before making off.

Mr Stewart is believed to have been sighted in the Thornaby area today (May 11) and he has links to Stockton, Leeds and Wolverhampton.

Anyone with information should contact Cleveland Police on 101 and quote ref SE21082132.
