AXE throwing, falconry and fighting demons, it was all in a day’s work for 60 international visitors staying at Lumley Castle.

It was part of an international team building event and organised by UK-based planners Eventurous.

Over the break visitors who were kitted out in costumes and cosplay outfits took on 24-hours of fighting games and enjoyed a medieval-themed banquet and ball. There was also axe throwing and birds of prey experiences.

The Northern Echo:

Eventurous director Joe Garland said: “We always say there’s no event too big or no request too strange, and this was definitely one of our quirkier events.

“We loved being involved and all the visitors enjoyed the battles and their stay at the castle.”
