The arrests followed an incident on April 1 where a group of youths who had been banned from the McDonald's on Cambridge Road entered the restuarant.

Two PCSOs from Harrogate's Neighbourhood Policing Team attended at around 7pm and a fight broke out which left one PCSO with a suspected broken nose and the other with tissue damage to their cheek.

Three girls, aged 13, 14 and 15-years-old, were arrested in connection with the incident and police enquiries continue.
