A TEENAGER was left with head injuries after being assaulted in a park.

Police are asking residents in the area near the play park in Kingfisher Drive, Aiskew, Bedale, to check their doorbell or private CCTV footage following the assault.

The incident happened at around 2.45pm on Thursday April 21 when the boy, aged in his late teens, was assaulted by two older males and sustained head injuries.

Since the offence took place, several lines of enquiry have been investigated and detectives would now like to identify people who may have seen the incident, the aftermath and residents who may have footage from private CCTV, which may hold information vital to the investigation.
