A missing 15-year-old girl from County Durham who hadn't been seen since Monday (March 28) has been located by police officers after an urgent appeal was launched.
Durham teenager, Shannen, who lives in Spennymoor, was reported missing at 8pm on Monday evening when she failed to turn up for an arranged lift from Washington bus station.

After she was reported missing, Northumbria Police launched an urgent appeal across its social media platform in an attempt to help locate the 15-year-old.
Updating the appeal this morning, the police force said: "Missing Durham teen Shannen has been found safe and well. Thanks to all who shared our appeal. You really do make a difference."
