POLICE in County Durham are appealing for information after a public order incident at Spennymoor Football Club just after Christmas saw several people and four police officers assaulted.

Durham Constabulary has released the images of several people that they want to speak to in connection to the incident, which occurred at around 3.30pm on December 26 at the ground on Brewery Field when Spennymoor faced rivals Darlington FC.

Several people and four police officers were assaulted when "tempers flared" between both sets of fans both inside and outside of the stadium.

Officers are keen to trace the group of men who they believe could assist with their enquires.
