INTERNATIONAL star of stage and screen Patrick Duffy had a double reason to celebrate recently as he marked St Patrick’s Day and his birthday while on stage at Darlington Hippodrome.

To celebrate, his partner and co-star Linda Purl presented him with a cake made by one of the Hippodrome staff after today’s performance of Catch Me If You Can.

In addition, the audience sang happy birthday, and staff members gave his dressing room a birthday makeover.
