The order was imposed after he was convicted of sending threatening text and facebook messages to a woman on June 5, 2020.

The 40-year-old was also convicted of threatening to smash the windows and burn down the house belonging to the same woman on May 29, 2020.

Newton Aycliffe magistrates Court sentenced him to a community order but on December 16, 2021 Laidlaw failed to attend for an instructed Rehabilitaion Activity Requirement appointment with his probation practitioner.
