A 33-YEAR-OLD man was fined £400 after going nearly 100mph on the M62 after being caught by an automatic camera device.

Kenney-Joe Walton, 33 of Cornbell Gate, Ripon, North Yorkshire, appeared before magistrates on Tuesday, February 22.

Walton was caught by an automatic camera device going 99mph on the M62.

He was fined £400 for the offence and was also made to pay £40 to victim services, and £110 in court costs.

Walton pleaded guilty to the offence and was also given 5 points on his licence.
