REDCAR and Cleveland Neighbourhood Police Teams has charged a woman with several shop theft offences in Redcar and Cleveland yesterday (January 27).
The woman had reportedly travelled from County Durham to Redcar and Skelton and had stolen goods from a number of shops.
Officers arrested the 46-year-old woman in Redcar town centre.

She was interviewed and later charged with five counts of theft.
Police returned all the alleged stolen goods to the stores.
The woman was bailed, with conditions, and is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court in mid-February.
