THE FINAL remaining items which once belonged to an historic Darlington manufacturer are up for auction.
Just 300 lots consisting of tooling, machinery, equipment, office supplies and even a letter from a former prime minister are left in an online auction which is selling off the former Cleveland Bridge assets.
The auction, available to view online, ends at 10am tomorrow.
It comes after more than two thousand items were auctioned off in November when people were invited to the Yarm Road factory to try before they could buy.
The demise of the industry powerhouse was laid bare as the site’s main factory was stripped of all machinery save for some equipment, wires and workbenches.

From machinery worth thousands of pounds to £5 fridges, the auction list for the assets and equipment at Cleveland Bridge's Darlington headquarters made for shocking viewing.
Now, its final auction includes industry equipment such as a sheet metal folder, bending rolls and welding machinery.
A hand-signed letter dating back to 2002 from the then prime minister Tony Blair is one of the strangest items up for sale this time. The former Sedgefield Labour MP sent the letter as part of Cleveland Bridge's 125th anniversary celebrations.
But once again, decorative office wall art is up for grabs with bidders able to buy a "Japanese Painting of a Peacock" for as little as £21 or "Eleven Various Framed Pictures of Constructions by Cleveland Bridge" at a starting price of £5.
Cleveland Bridge’s closure was confirmed in September after a global search by a team of administrators from FRP failed to find a buyer willing to take on a £21million mountain of debt and turn the business around.
Official documents filed by the Cleveland Bridge administrators showed that the company's debts totalled more than £21million.
