The duo will be performing songs from a brand new album Unknown Waters – a collection of songs written by the their favourite North East songwriters.

The album includes tracks written by a variety of artists including Middlesbrough’s Chris Rea and Vin Garbutt as well as Alan Hull from folk rockers Lindisfarne, Richard Grainger and Jez Lowe.

Born in Billingham and Middlesbrough but now based in Cambridgeshire, Megson established themselves as “one of most original acts on the British folk scene” by combining their own sensitive compositions with traditional music from the North East.

They have performed over 1,000 concerts across Europe and recently broadcast live sessions for both BBC Radio 3 and Radio 2.

Tickets for the show, starting at 7pm, costing £15 and £4 (students and U16), are available from www.megsonmusic.co.uk
