DORSET no longer has any areas within the highest bracket of Covid case rates on an interactive map on the government website.
A colour-coded map depicts areas where case rates are above 1,600 per 100,000 people in black.
Latest data for the seven days to January 14 shows no areas across the BCP and Dorset Council areas were coloured black. The previous week there were 18 'blackspot' areas.

During the latest period, a total of 33 areas across the county had rates between 800 and 1,599, which is the second highest rate category.
East Howe & Ensbury Park had the highest rate at 1,105.8 with 93 infections.

At the other end of the scale, Corfe Castle & Langton Matravers had the fewest infections with 12 cases at a rate of 237.7.
Meanwhile, the number of Covid cases recorded across the BCP Council area has fallen 42 per cent.
The total number of cases across the conurbation fell 5,458 to 3,118.
During the same period, cases in the Dorset Council fell 43 per cent from 4,512 to 2,540.
