POLICE have issued a fresh appeal for information following a serious crash which left a woman in hospital.

The woman, who is in her 60s, was seriously injured after she was hit by a van in Yarm on December 30.

It happened at about 6.46am and involved a white Peugeot van on The Spital.

Police investigating the collision are appealing for anyone with CCTV or dashcam to share it with officers. 

Police want to view footage which may show the Peugeot van travelling into Yarm from the area of the Shell Petrol Station on Thirsk Road (where the A67 joins Thirsk Road), up to The Spital where the collision occurred.

Officers are also continue to appeal to anyone who witnessed the actual incident, and has not already spoken to police to call 101, reference 220772.
