POLICE say two incidents which both involved a gang of men - and resulted in a petrol bomb being thrown at a house - could be linked.

The incidents were both reported to Cleveland Police yesterday morning.

The first was reported at about 5.10am, when a group of four or five men forcibly entered a property on Broadway West in Redcar.

A group of around four to five males then made off from the scene in a dark coloured vehicle, Cleveland Police said.

Officers are carrying out investigations.

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said. "Fortunately, no injuries have been reported. No further descriptions are available at this time."
