AFTER so many children missed out on performing in their first traditional Nativity shows last year, schools across our region have pulled out all the stops to make sure this years’ plays could go ahead.

Whether they were held in school halls or outside, with audiences or recorded for families to watch at home, one thing that is true of all is the amount of hard work and Christmas spirit that went into every one.

From teachers and school staff preparing scripts, teaching the story of the birth of Jesus, and directing dozens of youngsters – to children and their families who have learned lines, practised songs and found costumes.

Well done all of you!
