A MAN was injured during a fight between two large dogs in York and the police are appealing for witnesses.

It happened in Copmanthorpe near the junction of Horseman Lane, Main Street and Church Street in Copmanthorpe between 10am and 10.30am on Sunday November 28.

Two large dogs fought and a man required hospital treatment for his injuries.

Police are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and would like to hear from any witnesses.
