NORTH Yorkshire police say they stopped a car after seeing it had a cloned registration plate which resulted in a street pursuit and the car mounting the pavement.
Officers spotted the vehicle near Harrogate where they tried to stop the car, resulting in a pursuit.

The vehicle, according to police, drove at speed attempting to evade officers through residential areas endangering the safety of others.
At one point the vehicle mounted the pavement and drove through a red light, however, officers were able to bring the car to a stop after a short time.
A 23-year-old driver was arrested and later charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop and driving without insurance and his vehicle was seized.

Police say he has now been released on bail to appear in court next week.
