DANCE school members and teachers were jumping for joy to be back on stage at their favourite theatre - and our photographer Sarah Caldecott was there to catch them on camera.

The Joanne Banks Dancers, based in Spennymoor, County Durham, staged a three night run of shows at Darlington Hippodrome.

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, dancers put on a show of epic proportions featuring different styles of dance, music and performances by dancers of all ages and abilities from the school.

Mrs Banks said: "In 2020, when all theatres were closed The Joanne Banks Dancers still managed to provide their pupils and supporters with an awesome outdoor performance, Dancing In The Park.

"This was an incredible achievement in a very difficult year – still we yearned for the lights and sequins of a stage show.

"A testament to the resilience and passion of our staff, pupils and parents, Bring Tomorrow On is filled with hope, joy and love as well as amazing dance talent and stunning choreography."
