A FOLK Duo is set to be back on the road again performing across North Yorkshire this month.

The Scottish and English duo, Winter Wilson, decided to keep in touch with its worldwide fans by streaming live concerts from their living room every week and raised £5,000 for charity as a result.

The Kip Winter and David Wilson were able to learn 500 songs during lockdown and also wrote and recorded their latest CD "The Passing of the Storm."

Now the two are touring North Yorkshire visiting Whitby and Leyburn and other locations.

Kip Winter said: "We started in April 2020 and we genuinely thought it would just be for a few weeks. Sixty weeks later we were still doing it, alternating original songs one week and covers the next, mostly requests from the people watching."

The duo will be playing at Goathland Community Centre, near Whitby on Friday November 12, Hutton Rudby Village Hall on November 13 and Carperby Village Institute near Leyburn on November 20.
