POLICE are appealing after thieves stole several computers as well as a hi-fi from a shop.

The break-in took place at a shop on Yarm Street in Stockton.

The incident happened around 11:30am on Sunday, October 17, whereby two computers including the screen and tower and a laptop were taken, as well as a Hi-Fi which is a custom made technics 1210 turntable and a TEAC CD player and TEAC amplifier.

A second laptop was also stolen, which had stickers on it including a David Bowie Blackstar album sticker.
