Police are investigating a sexual assault at a railways station last weekend.

The British Transport Police are investigating a sexual assault at Thornaby railway station and have released images of the suspect.

Just before 7pm on Saturday, October 2, the victim and her boyfriend were in the station’s waiting room when a man with a group mocked the couple before touching the victim inappropriately.

Officers believe the man in the image may have information that could help their investigation.
