CUSTOMERS on flights scheduled to fly from Teesside today have been told they will be moved to alternative flights.
Teesside International Airport is currently closed following an incident on the runway.
A pilot and two passengers were taken to hospital following the incident, which involved a light aircraft and happened just after 9.30am.

An investigation into what happened is due to take place.
Loganair has been in contact with customers due to fly out today.
A spokesperson said: “We regret to inform you that there has been an incident at Teesside Airport which has resulted in a runway closure today.
“We can confirm that at no time was a Loganair aircraft involved. We have no alternative but to accommodate customers due to travel today onto the next and best available flight.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused to your travel plans but must stress that this out with our control and we will do our very best to assist you with making alternative arrangements."
Teesside Airport understands that Loganair has spoken to most passengers but if you haven't heard from them then you should contact them directly on 0344 800 2855.
Flights due to land at Teesside are being diverted to Newcastle.

An investigation is underway following the incident.
A spokesperson for Teesside Airport said: "We can confirm an incident occurred today involving a light aircraft at 09:39.
"A pilot and two passengers were onboard and have been taken to hospital.
"Our runway will remain closed until further notice while a thorough investigation is carried out.
"We would like to thank the emergency services, on site staff for their quick response."
The Air Accidents Investigations Branch has been called.
