A DRIVER fled the scene of a crash which left two people in hospital on Sunday.
The two-vehicle collision happened at about 7.50pm on Park Vale Road, in Middlesbrough, and involved a white Mercedes C220 and a blue Skoda Fabia.
Police are now appealing for witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage to come forward.

The 20-year-old male driver of the Skoda suffered a broken hand and was taken to James Cook University Hospital.
A 25-year-old man, who was travelling in the Mercedes, was taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
The driver of the same vehicle made off from the scene on foot.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have CCTV or dash cam footage of the incident or the manner of driving of the Mercedes prior to the collision, is asked to contact PC Lee Benson from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on 101.
