AFTER the huge success of Emma Raducanu's US Open tennis victory, there's been an increased interest in the sport.
Such is the demand at the moment the 18-year-old champion jokes she 'can't even get a court at my local club'.
Tennis facilities are available throughout County Durham and Darlington, with dozens of local clubs available for all ages.
Outdoor play areas throughout the region, also known as Multi-use games areas or MUGAs, are fully fenced, non-turfed areas, marked out and an adequate size for at least two of the following sports; tennis, netball, basketball, or five-a-side football.
