A MAN was rescued from a roof after he fell from a height in Stockton.

Cleveland Fire Service, The Great North Air Ambulance and Police were called to High Newham Court in Stockton after the man fell.

Fire crews used an aerial platform to rescue him from the flat roof, where he was then transported to hospital.

The Fire Service was called at 9.48am and stood down 11.19am - crews from Stockton and Saltburn attended.

It was reported that crowds gathered at the area where the man had fallen from ladders.
