THREE of North Yorkshire’s cheapest homes are up for auction on the property site Zoopla, let’s take a look inside.

Although these properties are cheap, you certainly won’t be getting short changed for the price as there is a two-bedroom, three-bedroom and four-bedroom property on this list.

There’s no denying that all the properties need some work – some more than others – but they’re all a great starting point and offer some great potential.

Hartington Street,  Loftus, Saltburn-by-the-Sea – £15,000

Our first property up for auction has been described as a “characterful” three-bedroom terraced house.

Estate agents say the house is “full of potential”, but does require “full refurbishment and modernisation.”

The house is also right near the “stunning” North Yorkshire coastline of Cleveland Bay and surrounding areas such as Whitby and Saltburn.

The house consists of an entrance hall, living room, dining room, kitchen, three bedrooms and also an external yard.

The property is up for auction at a guiding price of £15,000 via the Zoopla website.

Finally on our list is a four-bedroom house with a lot of potential and needing the least amount of refurbishment.

According to estate agents, the building does have water damage due to a leaking roof, but is perfect for developers “with an eye for potential.”

They have also claimed that the property is “perfectly priced for the work required and once complete, this property will be a superb addition to any buy to let portfolio.”
