Time Will Tell are a talented theatre company whose passion is history, especially the lesser-known stories that are often lost.

They perform at many of Britain’s historic sites, including Alnwick Castle, Whitby and The Royal Armouries.

Their fast-paced whistle stop tour of Richmond will explore some of the stories from the town's fascinating history.

The play will pose such questions as why the castle was built and what it meant for the history of the town that grew up in its shadow.

Audiences can also find out about the richest man in Britain marrying the daughter of a king in the ultimate land grab in England's history.

There will be three performances in the Market Place below the town clock this Saturday, September 18 at 12.30pm, 2pm and 3pm.
