POLICE are trying to trace three youths who may have important information about criminal damage at a Northallerton cricket club.

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information about the damage caused to wicket covers at Scruton Cricket Club on Station Road in Northallerton.

The damage took place on Saturday, August 7 between 5.30pm and 6.30am.

Officers are conducting enquiries to determine the circumstances of the incident and would like to speak to three youths – two boys and a girl – who were in the area at the time, as they may hold important information.

Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2, and ask for Sarah Norman.
