A DALE village is to be the next filming location for a local horror film.
North East horror villain The Rag Dolly has already built up quite a reputation over the past two years and this week she heads to St John's Chapel to film scenes for Dolly v Eve: Homecoming.
A house in St John's Chapel will double as The Rag Dolly's former childhood home, Seashells and when a group of charity investigators spend the night there, they get more than they bargained for.
The director hopes to put more of his home of County Durham on film, taking the production outside of Willington.
Film Director, Dean Midas from Willington said, "This will be the first time in the franchise that we have visited The Rag Dolly's family home.
"St John's Chapel is stunning and will give me a beautiful backdrop for filming."
Dolly v Eve: Homecoming is released on Friday, October 22, just before Halloween.
