HUNDREDS of children have been having fun at Darlington's roller-skating rink.

The rink was in the market square for the first two weeks of the summer holiday and proved to be a big hit with almost 3,000 youngsters enjoying a spin.

It is the first time Darlington has had the attraction and more events are planned during August.
