UPDATE: Jacqueline Bartley has now been found. 

POLICE have appealed for help to find a woman who has been reported missing.

Durham police are concerned for the welfare of Jacqueline Bartley, from Low Westwood, near Consett, County Durham.

The force said the 29-year-old went missing from her home at around 5pm yesterday, Sunday, August 1, and may have driven towards Newcastle in a grey Ford Fiesta.

A police spokesperson said: “Jacqueline was last seen driving her grey Ford Fiesta, registration number FL16 DDJ, and is thought to have been headed in the direction of Newcastle.

“She is described as white, around 5ft 4in tall with dark brown hair and wearing yellow and orange joggers and a black jacket.”

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident reference number 332 of August 1.
