A BRAND new Five Guys restaurant has confirmed it's opening date in Teesside.

The fast food chain, renowned for it's American style burgers, and peanut oil fried chips, will open on August 2 (Monday).

The restaurant which has a drive-thru is based at Teesside Park in Stockton.

The Northern Echo:

There are 250,000 possible combinations to order a burger at Five Guys as well as over 1,000 possible ways to customise a milkshake.

Five Guys was established in 1986 by the Murrell family in Virginia and launched in the UK in 2013, opening in Covent Garden on July 4.

The restaurant currently has stores in Harrogate and the Metrocentre, Gateshead.
