A WALKER who fell over 30 metres into a river was rescued last night.
Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team attended the call out in Keld at Kisdon Force after the walker fell over 30 metres into the River Swale.
The walker was initally treated by passing British Army medics.

The North East Air Ambulance then attended the scene.

Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team helped get the walker up gorge to a position where the coastguard winched the stretcher out of the gorge.
