NORTH Yorkshire police have launched an appeal after a large group of young people threw an object at a member of public and then subjected them to verbal abuse.

The incident, which happened at Norton Skate Park, and occurred between 7 to 8pm on Tuesday July 13 2021.

Police say there have been a number of incidents of antisocial behaviour happening at the skate park and are asking anyone with information on the incident to get in touch.

The young people involved are believed to be roughly 16 years of age.
