TWO new restaurants have been confirmed for Durham City as the brands behind them have been revealed.
Brazilian bar & grill, Estábulo, and flame-grilled chicken restaurant, Casa Peri Peri will open in the city's Riverwalk development in November later this year.
It comes as Durham has seen a wave of new openings in recent weeks with Rib N Reef, the Butcher's Deli and The Curious Mr Fox opening their doors.

Clearbell has announced the two new restaurants have both signed a 15-year lease, while it has also provided an update on Caribbean bar and restaurant, Turtle Bay.
Estábulo, which has a restaurant in Darlington's DL1 leisure complex, is set to serve up meals using traditional gaucho cooking methods and locally sourced ingredients.
Casa Peri Peri, which does not yet have a restaurant in the North East, is expected to specialise in flame-grilled chicken and short ribs.
Riverwalk bosses said that they anticipate the new Carribean restaurant, Turtle Bay to start its fitting out this month, with a view to open in October.
Stewart Forsyth, Development Director at Clearbell Capital, said: “We look forward to welcoming Estábulo and Casa Peri Peri to The Riverwalk, as well as seeing Turtle Bay open its doors.
"All are distinct dining spots that will offer an even greater variety of options to visitors”.
“The easing of lockdown restrictions should encourage diners to eat and drink out once again and we look forward to welcoming more visitors to The Riverwalk this summer.”
Bosses at The Riverwalk have said they have seen a significant uplift in footfall since restrictions lifted, with more than 50,000 visitors per week.
Rob Campbell, chief executive at Estabulo and Casa Peri Peri, said: “I am delighted for both Estábulo and Casa Peri Peri and am looking forward to bringing the two brands to The Riverwalk for people to enjoy.”
In addition, Clearbell is continuing refurbishment works at The Riverwalk, including changes to car park 1 which is being redecorated and given new parking machines. The car park will reopen in July 2021.
