A NORTH Yorkshire theme park has created a series of new themed games and attractions as it celebrates a Summer of Fun.

Throughout the school holidays, families can enjoy more than 30 rides and experiences in the park, including the new Go Safari area and Treetop Trails, alongside a number of new pop attractions.

Theme-park-goers can ride the helter skelter, mini carousel, vintage swings, bouncy castle and inflatable slides as part of the summer fun ticket.

The park will also offer food at the market stall such as candy floss or freshly popped popcorn.

Classic fairground rides will also be there such as Hook a Duck and take a new arcade.

The new Go Safari attraction will see families on the Sevanna Express which passes through the African Wilderness.

Rides at this part of the theme park include Kangaroo jump, Elephant Flight, Monkey Drop and Hot Air Balloons.

Other new attractions to the site consist of Treetop Trails, which was formerly treetop nets, which provides a net walk through the tree canopy high above the park and is now included as part of the admission price.

Younger members of the family can enjoy other favourites such as Little Dipper, Carousel, Skyrider, the Lady Bird Rollercoaster, Splash Falls and more.

With over 170 acres of parkland Lightwater Valley says it has sufficient space for all customers to socially distance safely.
