POLICE have issued an appeal after a suspected arson attack in Guisborough.

Officers are appealing for information following the arson attack on Woodhouse Road in Guisborough.

The incident occurred on Thursday (July 8) at around 9.15pm when a white Ford fiesta was set alight.

Extensive damage was caused to the victim’s house as a result of the fire.

It is believed a man who was driving a grey or silver coloured Landrover Discovery was responsible for the reported arson attack.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with private CCTV footage to contact Cleveland Police on 101 quoting 112907.
