DARLINGTON nightclubs and bars are preparing to reopen later this month with a host of events already planned.
As part of the Prime Minister Boris Johnson's roadmap out of lockdown, nightclubs and other event spaces will be allowed to reopen from July 19.
All remaining businesses will be able to reopen, including nightclubs, while capacity caps will be lifted and bars and restaurants will no longer be restricted to table service.

The Skinnergate venue has revealed exciting plans for its full reopening in less than two weeks.
Launching on Friday, July 23 the nightclub's news LOCO launch party will take place.
A post on the nightclub's Facebook page says: "Loco will be bringing the party back to Darlington with a bang will all the freshest R&B hip hop, house, dance and party tunes. Expect lights, dancers, UV décor, light up props and much more."
DJs Chris Taylor and Adam Lancaster will be on the decks to provide the tunes.
On Saturday, Ignite presents its Freedom club night for the first time in 15 months.
DJs James Burton, Wake and Charlie Muir are all on the bill for the big night.
Ahead of the event, a post on Facebook reads: "We have our own very special guest the biggest DJ to come out of Darlington... James Burton

"British DJ/Producer with releases on labels such as Of Unsound Mind, Kaluki, Do Not Sleep, Shanghaied, New Violence, and Kulture among others.
"James is one of the hottest Djs in the UK at the moment playing from a close knit circle of internationally renowned artists such as Richy Ahmed, Patrick Topping, Skream and Jackmaster, James has created a sound that is his own."
"Wake - Breakthrough DJs from Sunderland UK. These boys are creating waves in the House music division. Blane Waters and Callum Robinson blending there own style from 90s house to minimal and Tech
"Charlie Muir - Darlington's hottest prospect he can play anything across the board house / trance or techno."
Entry between 10pm and 12am is free, and £6 after until 3.30am.

Avalon Bar and Terrace
Although no specific events have been announced, the popular town centre venue will continue to provide Indie, house, disco, soul and funk music all night long.
Tables are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
The Gate cocktail and late bar
The venue boasts a beer garden with sheltered tables and heaters throughout. Its resident DJ is on hand to play background music from 9pm every weekend.
