NORTH-EAST MP Dehenna Davison was one of the first Conservative MPs to react to Matt Hancock's resignation.
The Bishop Auckland MP posted a tweet just minutes after the Health Secretary announced he had quit, desctibing it as "the right decision".
She said: “A tough decision, but the right one.
"Matt has worked his socks off as Health Secretary, and I’ll always be especially grateful to him for the role he played in helping us beat Covid.
"Let’s come together to finish the job.”
A tough decision, but the right one.
