ARE you bored of cooking for your partner, housemates or children?

Do you think your cooking skills have improved over lockdown and you're finally ready to test them out on the wider world?

County Durham chefs who think they've got what it takes to host the perfect dinner party could walk away with £1,000.

Popular TV show Come Dine With Me is looking for County Durham and Darlington residents to take part in the next series.

The County Durham episodes in the 2015 series of the show remain some of the most toxic yet after contestants clashed and bickered across the four nights.

The four episodes filmed across the county went down a storm with ardent fans of the show after contestants' behaviour was branded 'absolutely disgusting'.

In one particular spat one contestant was also labelled a lizard.

The Northern Echo:

The programme was first broadcast in January 2005 and each episode shows four or five amateur chefs competing against each other hosting a dinner party for the other contestants.

Filming will take place under strict covid guidelines.

The only criteria is that you are over 18 and not working or trained as a professional chef.

To apply for Series 18 and 19, you can apply online here or email cdwm@multistory.tv

The closing date for entries is September 10.
