AS restrictions enforced on the hospitality industry are slowly lifted, restaurants and bars throughout Darlington have begun advertising jobs available. 

Businesses are experiencing a hyped up demand thanks to hot weather and an appetite to get out the house, and they're now calling on locals to join their teams. 

Now might be the right time for people to consider a new career in the hospitality trade.

Here are eight businesses advertising jobs in Darlington right now:

Stable Hearth

The multi-award winning Neapolitan pizzeria and Enoteca is known for its high quality, authentic food and customer service. 

And now, the business is advertising vacancies in its kitchen, bar and front of house areas in part-time and full-time roles. 

Three kitchen jobs: pizzaiolo; experienced chef; and a 'commi-chef'. 

Bar person/Supervisor - a motivated, knowledgeable and committed person to work in the Enoteca/bar area. 

One full-time senior and one full-time trainee position available - experience of working in similar environments delivering high quality service is essential. 

There is also have availability for part-time positions in the Front of House team, which will involve evening and weekend working. Responsibilities include greeting customers, taking orders, communicating with the kitchen and ensuring guests receive outstanding levels of service at all times.

Salaries are available between £17,572-£23,999 per year. 

Split Beans 

Coming soon to Grange Road, Split Beans is an exciting new venue set to serve a range of 'vibrant and unique cocktails and sweet treats' 

Spilt Beans C&C is a new venue coming soon to Grange Road, Darlington. Open from early till late, serving a range of vibrant and unique cocktails and sweet treats.

The new bar is advertising job roles for 'enthusiastic and outgoing individuals' who can help 'deliver a new drinking experience to Darlington's late night scene, as well as provide a relaxing and vibrant daytime atmosphere'. 

Bartending/Barista experience is preferred but not a requirement as training will be provided.

Salaries are between £6.56-£9.41 per hour.

The Stapleton venue is currently looking for experienced waiters or waitresses to join its team.

Job roles are available on a full-time and part-time basis with a passion for and knowledge of the hospitality industry essential.

The bar is looking for part time bar staff who are passionate about real and craft ale and providing great customer service.
Bar experience is preferred but not essential. You must be enthusiastic, hard working and flexible with hours.

Applicants must be available to work weekends, and pay is dependant on experience.

The bar is advertising for a number of roles including a full-time Flair Bartender/Mixologist who will earn between £15,000 and £22,000 per year. 

You must be able to be very creative with extensive cocktail knowledge and show the ability to flair or learn to a good standard.

Opened in 2005, Hash bar and kitchen is a family owned and run business situated in Darlington's Imperial quarter in the heart of the town.

Now spread over three spaces, the venue comprises of two dining areas, two bars and a self contained roof terrace open all year round.

The weekly wage stands at £165, working 30 hours per week.
