A BOY has been taken to hospital after a collision with a car yesterday afternoon.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage following a collision in Middlesbrough.
The collision happened around 4:47pm yesterday, Tuesday, June 15, on Woodville Avenue in Middlesbrough.
It involved a black Renault Megane and a four-year-old boy. The boy was taken to James Cook University Hospital with serious head injuries.
Officers from Cleveland Police are appealing for any witnesses who have not already spoken to police or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch.
Any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact PC Paul Dixon from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident number 098075.
